Robert Cleary
Vice President, Media Director

Having worked in the media industry since 1995, Robert has a clear vision of our clients' business and an eye for success in media planning and buying. As Vice President, Media Director for Mediasmith, Robert is responsible for all day to day media activities and oversees Mediasmith's growing group of clients. He adds his extensive integrated media strategy experience to the team and plays a large role in the continued development of Mediasmith’s emerging media and M3 practices. Adding to his expertise in B to B and B to C clients, Robert’s current clients include NetApp, Alibaba.com, MarketWatch, and ShoreTel, among others.

Robert previously held the position of Group Media Director for Mediasmith. Prior to joining Mediasmith in early 2009, Cleary held leadership positions with a variety of advertising and media agencies, most recently as SVP of Media Strategy at Gyro International, where Cleary ran all media strategy and functions across all US operations and managed media integration globally.

Previous to Gyro, Robert also worked at Grey Interactive, Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, Saatchi and Saatchi, and Grant, Scott and Hurley.

Robert is a graduate of San Francisco State University.
