Michael Rosenfeld,
Vice President, New Business Development

As vice president of new business development at Mediasmith, Michael leads the agency’s business development strategy and positioning by driving all marketing activities and partnerships with creative agencies, while maintaining a steady pipeline of new business. Since 2006 when Michael joined Mediasmith, the agency has won a series of top-tier accounts including: SEGA of America, World Vision, NetApp, Bullroarer, Airplay, Alibaba.com, and assignments from MTV and Dolby Labs.

Prior to Mediasmith, Michael founded and launched ARSNL Creative, a Southern California-based advertising and branding agency. Under Michael’s leadership, the agency landed a number of apparel and action sports powerhouses including FLOW Bindings, Rusty Surfboards, and SPLIT Clothing. In addition, Michael represented and managed contract negotiations for Burton Snowboard’s premier athlete snowboarder Victoria Jealouse. This path of business, advertising, and understanding of youth and popular culture began at San Francisco State University with his first gig as a Student Rep for Apple.

Michael holds a BA in international business and marketing from San Francisco State University. He serves on the AAAA’s Small and Mid Size New Business Committee and on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco American Marketing Association (SF AMA). Currently in the mentor program for "City of Dreams," working with high risk youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Michael is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys trail running, surfing, and Brazilian jazz.
